National Acupuncture Foundation Launches Web Site The National Acupuncture Foundation has launched its new
web site at www.nationalacupuncturefoundation.org.
The NAF has been serving the acupuncture and Oriental Medicine profession
since 1991. In addition to publishing books on acupuncture and Oriental
medicine education and legislation, it supports education and research
in the field of acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) and provides information
and education to The launch of the web site is one of many changes occurring within the NAF. In June of this year, the Foundation moved its physical offices, hired dedicated management staff, and began two new publishing projects. New board members and staff are reinvigorating the Foundation, and are actively pursuing the advancement of the organization’s mission. Under its publishing imprint, NAF Publications©, the NAF is revising its popular and authoritative reference guide on AOM regulation for a seventh edition: Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine State Laws and Regulations, 2005 Edition; and, is publishing a new book by complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) legal expert, Michael H. Cohen, J.D.: Legal Issues in Integrative Medicine: A Guide for Clinicians, Hospitals, and Patients. Information on both of these books, and more about the NAF
